	Pawley's Island is located just south of Litchfield Retreat. This site has lots of local info from restaurants to rainy day activities. There is even a webcam so you can see what's happening on the Beach. Pawleys.org
	Brookgreen Gardens is one of the most beautiful public gardens in the Southeast. In addition, there's a Lowcountry Trail with native wildlife exhibits as well as historical and cultural exhibits. Visit their site at Brookgreen.org

	One of the special features of Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island is that Huntington Beach State Park, a 2,500 acre park, is just north on Hwy 17. This is a bird-watching mecca.
